16.00
Filming Started!
We were all really nervous (and it definitely showed in the first shots). There were people around and...let's say it was awkward. However, we were able to make it work and my main actor Ramon began to feel more confident. Also, the weather was not the best but I decided to establish the mood of the concept around it.

17.00
Everything going according to plan!
We were even ahead of time and I discovered the portrait mode which allowed me to have better quality shots
17.30
Time to change location!
Our next location was only a few minutes away. However, the weather started to get worst. At first I was worried about the natural lighting but it worked out fine.
Some of the chorus shots were too repetitive which is why I made the decision to leave them for the next weekend.
19.00
We decided to change location again
Although it was not planned, we decided to go to Sol in order to film the bar scene and after that get the train and film our last scenes and go back to the boarding house.
All of the bars were full of people and after 20 minutes of wondering around, we finally found a bar which was still not full of people. I was able to play with the lighting and get a nice effect.
20.30
Time to catch the train and film the last scenes for the day!
Although getting the train seemed like the easiest part of our day...it was not. We were stopped by security as they confused us with a group of people who didn't pay for their ticket. This made us loose our train. However, we finally got to the next one just on time. I was able to film a few scenes and then we finally got home.
Sunday 13
11.00
Time to print posters!
I printed out 16 different posters and I sticked them on my wall (part of the props)
12.00
Time to film!
First, we had to ask for the permission of our houseparents and their condition was for us to film with the door opened which is why I decided to change the plan and instead of using led lights, use natural lighting (which turned out fine as the quality was even better)
13.00
Almost done...
We went downstair to film our last scene and I also decided to make them an interview in order to get to know their interests a bit more
14.00
Done for today!
I decided to watch again the footage of the two days and realised that there was footage that needed to be filmed again and the chorus part had to be filmed again. Which is why I made another plan to film next Saturday.
Also, I'm waiting on my friend Miguel Barber ,who plays the electric guitar, to send me the videos of him playing . I wanted to film the videos, however, he doesn't live in Madrid as he is currently studying in Berklee College of Music.
These are some backstage pictures that I took this weekend:
