Making of digipack

Digipaks are normally preferred by artists as it opens up as a book, offering the buyer a better experience rather than just a CD.
I took a look at some digipaks of some indie artists in order to get some inspiration.

I would like to have a background that is not a picture of someone just like Arctic Monkeys did

I like the lack of colour and how the red highlights the important words


After taking a look at some inspiration, I decided to go and take some pictures:




I then decided to look for a good design for the digipak and I found the perfect one:
The font is also an important aspect which is why I decided to keep the same font as in my music video.

Above is the design that I chose for it to be part of both my digipak and my music video.
The process of making the digipak was not complicated as having a template made it easier. Also I have some knowledge on how to use Photoshop due to the skills I acquired by doing my coursework in GCSE Media.
What I found most challenging was definitely editing all of the pictures, playing with the placement of the title, choosing the cover...
The final digipak design will be up very soon...
